Things are going swell I truly believe Summer’s here now, my girl loves sand baths in the summers sun. Her and I have been plugging away! Pay days this week so I’m hoping to get a lot more plants installed.
One of my followers reccomended reaching out to a tree service company for free mulch. It just so happens my neighbor owns a company hat does that. He’s always hauling a big chipper with him. I went to chat with him yesterday and he said some time this week or next hes going to give me a whole trailer full! It’s not the decrotive mulch with dyes and what not. It’s the natural! I’m so hype once I get that spread you all just wait!
Pictured above is my herb box, cilantro and basil doing good! Parsley is in there somewhere too. I didn’t know this but cilantro will begin to flower and seed and the seeds are actually a different spice. The seeds are called coriander, I had no idea hahahah!! Please share anything you think of as I’m new to this whole thing too!
Please enjoy stay swift and be easy baby.
Hey ever since I started “Lenny’s Worm Farm” ive always been interested in the ways worms play a vital role in gardening. When I started this compost pile a year ago I knew it needed red wigglers, a breed of worm known for its ability to eat and munch on all the good scraps and produce worm castings. I bought 200 and released them hoping for a good turnout. and now I can say I think its happening there are tons of worms in my pile. Oh they just love me ❤

It’s finally time, I brought my plants out from the indoor closet set up I crafted together. and let them into the environment. I wish I had eased them into it because I fear the cold nights my stress them out a little bit. I also wish I had invested in some topsoil + cow manure to fertilize before planting. Anyways it is what it is you live you learn.
Keep it real all.
Needing some more patio space out side, i turned to my chunks of concrete i found buried earlier this year. first i laid them out and adjusted and got them how i wanted. Then i spread mortar powder all through them with a broom. Prolly would advise you mix it properly.
But it filled it only some much so i figured well thats a nice base layer. My boy and i went back at it this weekand and really tricked the mugg out!
used the Quickcrete Motar: Crack Resistant Pro
Thanks For Looking
Lots going on at the farm not much time to write much at all. Plants are getting bigger, and the dogs are wrestling into them quite frequently… Building Barriers protecting both my birds and plants because i got some dogs who are a lil stuck in their ways.
